Det viser utsikten mot vest, hvor du ser Storsteinfjell med sine 540 moh og Eggekollene 536 moh. Midt i mellom disse toppen finner du en dal som fører inn til Eikssetra (380 moh) og Garsjø som ligger på omtrent samme høyde som Grindene. Her er det flotte turløyper sommer som vinter, men spesielt om vinteren er dette et veldig snøsikkert sted.
